ITA Conant Family Scholarship

The Idaho Trappers Association Scholarship offers one (1) $1,000 scholarship for any ITA member who intends to further their education at any college or university of their choice. This scholarship is awarded annually and membership in the ITA should be current.

Scholarship applications can be filled out online at the links below. The Scholarship will be awarded after May 1 of the current year and will be announced during the ITA Banquet. Those ITA members out of state and their families are eligible to apply as well as in state.

Scholarship Requirements

Purpose

To provide one (1) Scholarship for any ITA member who intends to further their education at any college or university.

Criteria

• Applicant or a member of the Applicant’s family is a current member of the Idaho Trappers Association.
• Applicant has plans to participate in a post-secondary education school or program, including vocational or technical programs within twelve (12) months of award.

Application Requirements

Applicant must submit the following items:

• Application Form
• Typed essay providing information about the Applicant, anticipated program of study, activities, hobbies, and reason for applying for the scholarship. Please limit response to two (2) pages.
• Two (2) letters of reference.
• Applications must be received or postmarked by April 1.

Application Process

• Applications can be completed either online using the link below or printed and completed hard copy.
• Online applications will require uploading the required typed essay and letters of recommendation. Acceptable formats include [fill in with the acceptable formats and any size limitations].
• Hard copy applications will need to be legible. Illegible, unreadable and incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Recipient will be notified by May 1.
